C.G. Betsurmath, Commissioner of Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), has appealed to the people of the city to assist the MCC in maintaining cleanliness and retaining the cleanest city tag.

‘Swachh’ posters released

Participating in a function organised to release ‘swachh’ Mysuru posters here on Tuesday, Mr. Betsurmath stressed the need for public participation in maintaining hygienic. He appealed to the people to hand over garbage to the collectors, who come to their houses on a daily basis. The Commissioner commended the citizens for not discarding waste recklessly. He said that the people of Mysuru were cooperating with the MCC in collecting, transporting, and disposing of garbage. A major credit for Mysuru getting the cleanest city tag should go to the citizens, he said.

Mayor B.L. Bhyrappa called upon all hotels in the city to keep their premises neat to attract tourists.
