Dia Mirza's Banaras darshan
Actress Dia Mirza is on a Ganga trail. The actor, who is hosting a travel show that traces River Ganga from Gangotri to Gangasagar, was in Varanasi after a two day stay in Allahabad. Meeting up people, who are making their presence felt in the social and cultural fabric of the city, the actor was at her affable best.
While interacting with foreign students, Jeremy and Danny at the cultural centre, Roobaroo house, the actor made sure she did not miss out on the tea served in kulhar by the hosts Aayush Rathi and Anchal Sachan.
Later, she also enjoyed a pottery session where she even tried her hand in making a kulhar. 'Pottery making is a very healing process. I remember once I had damaged two of my fingers badly. I was finding it difficult to even raise them, but a miraculous thing happened. As I was learning pottery at that time, after a few days working on the wheel, my fingers completely healed,' shared the actor.
