Dr Atwal condoles demise of Veteran Congress leader Dr Balram Jakhar

Chandigarh, Feb 3 (UNI) Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr Charnjit Singh Atwal expressed profound grief over the demise of former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Dr Balram Jakhar, who passed away this morning at his residence in New Delhi.
In a condolence message the Dr Atwal described Dr Jakhar as a multi-faceted personality with the qualities of both head and heart.
His contribution towards farmer community would be ever remembered by one and all. In his death the nation has lost an able politician and void has been created which was difficult to be filled,'' added Dr Atwal.
