DPS boys shine in ‘Robo’ contest

Gutha Ritvik Kishan of class VI and Vallabhaneni Venkata Praneet of class VII in Delhi Public School, Vijayawada, won overall championship besides prizes for Best Robo performance and Best Robo Design in the First Lego League (FLL), an Olympiad conducted by the US-based educational toy manufacturer LEGO.

Facing a three-level competition, the participants worked on this year’s topic-Trash Trek-how to reduce trash.

Ritvik and Venkat will now represent the south zone in the national-level competition. The Dean complimented the two boys for their achievements.

Karate championship

Students of DPS also fared well in AP State Shotokan Karate Cup-2016 and ‘Kidovators’, a platform for school children to showcase their leadership skills, intuitiveness and preparedness for life ahead.
