Police said that large number of youth, belonged to minority community converged at I town police station to protest against the alleged remarks made by the SP Gajarao Bhopal, while addressing a seminar. After knowing that a tense situation prevailed at the I town police station, the SP rushed there. Seeing the SP, the mob tried to attack him. They pelted stones on his vehicle, smashing wind screens. Sensing danger to the life of SP, his gunmen fired two rounds in air to disperse the mob. However, the SP left the place immediately.
