Class XII boy ends life in Banaskantha

Palanpur: A 19-year-old youth who was a student of class XII, committed suicide by hanging himself on a tree at his school premises in Soni village, 17km from Deodar town of Banaskantha on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Haresh Nai who was studying at Sri TV Patel High school in Soni village.
According to Haresh's parents the youth had left home in the morning saying that he was going to exercise in school.When Haresh did not return till afternoon his family members reached the school premises where they found him hanging on a tree. They later filed a complaint with the police. The police said that the immediate reason behind Haresh ending life was unknown, but ruled out any foul play in the incident.
However, sources said Haresh was afraid of failing in the examination as his hand got numb at times because of a medical condition.
