Rajwana, Hamza discuss LG setup

LAHORE - PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif had a meeting with Punjab Governor Muhammad Rafiq Rajwana here yesterday, where both the dignitaries discussed the matters pertaining to next phase of the local government election and development projects in South Punjab.
The governor said the recent huge success of the PML-N was a result of the public service of the party over the years. “The LB victory is a trust of the people in the leadership of the PML-N which has completed unprecedented development works in the province,” Rajwana told Hamza Shahbaz.
The governor, who belongs to Multan, particularly mentioned about the Metro bus project in his district and the health, education and the project of drinking water in South Punjab. “Pakistan is thriving fast under the PML-N government,” he added.
Hamza said the PML-N trusts in service to the public and the all of its policies revolve around this theme. The masses rejected those in the last local bodies lection who just believed in rhetoric and hollow slogans and had not practical agenda to serve the masses, he added.
