Khadoor Sahib By-poll: One candidate withdraws his candidature; 7 left in fray

Chandigarh, Jan 30 (UNI) Ajit Singh Saini, who filed his nomination papers as an Independent candidate for Khadoor Sahib bypoll, has withdrawn his candidature.
According to an official spokesman of the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab, with today’s withdrawal, as many as seven candidates were left in fray for the Khadoor Sahib Assembly constituency by-election in Punjab.
Polling would be held to this Assembly constituency on February 13. He said that now Ravinder Singh Brahmpura (SAD), Puran Singh BSP (Ambedkar), Sukhdev Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Sumail Singh, Harjit Singh and Anantjeet Singh (all Independents) would contest the Khadoor Sahib Assembly by-poll.
