Teacher held for sending obscene material via WhatsApp

Bicholim: The cyber crime police station on Friday arrested an ITI teacher from Honda and his student for sending obscene material through WhatsApp to a woman in Tivim.
Based on the complaint filed by the woman, the police attached the mobile from which the message was sent. After the student, who was detained, revealed that it was his teacher who had asked him to harass her, the police swung into action and arrested the teacher.The student had obtained the sim card in his friend's father's name, the police said.
Police said that the teacher had been in bad books with the woman for more than six years. PI Rajesh Job is the investigation officer.
