ECOR GM promises more facilities

East Coast Railway Zone General Manager Rajiv Bishnoi, who inspected 28 small and major railway stations between Vizianagaram and Palasa in Srikakulam district on Friday, promised passengers of more amenities on platforms in the near future.

At Vizianagaram, the GM inspected the facilities including rest rooms on all the five platforms. TDP district president and MLC Dwarapureddi Jagadeeswara Rao and BJP former district president B. Siva Prasad Reddy submitted separate memoranda, demanding extension of Godavari and Tirumala Express trains to Vizianagaram from Vizag, halt of Coromandel Express at Vizianagaram, and separate entry point to platforms on the west, and completion of pending ROBs.
