Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 29 2016 7:27PM Union Sanitation Minister applause LF govt in TripuraAgartala, Jan 29 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation Ram Kripal Yadav today appreciated the Manik Sarkar-led government in Tripura for comprehensive implementation of drinking water and sanitation projects.After two days visit, Mr Yadav told mediapersons that sanitation coverage of the state has crossed more than 70 per cent against the national average of 49 per cent. He, however, stated that central government had been providing adequate financial support to the northeastern states under various schemes for ensuring better civic amenities and development of infrastructure.Mr Yadav also countered the allegation of left front government that the state has not been given adequate fund for development projects and said the present government had increased the share of taxes to 42 per cent besides, increasing the allocation in various projects.Please log in to get detailed story.Tags: #Union Sanitation Minister applause LF govt in Tripura
