Ranjit Kumar, who was evading arrest in the case surrendered in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Sampat Kumar who remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days. The accused had already been put behind bars at Gaya Central Jail, sources added. Emerging from the court room, Ranjit Kumar told newspersons that the doctor posted at Bathani primary health centre, Satyendra Kumar Sinha was making baseless allegations against him.
