Lioness stuck in farm fence, rescued and taken for medical care

A lioness has been injured while attempting to enter farm protected by iron fencing near Lakhavad village which is located between Talaja and Palitana in Bhavnagar district on the bank of river Shetrunji. The lioness was captured in cage after giving tranquilizer shot and taken to forest department facility for medical treatment. The tragedy happened as leg of lioness was stuck in steel wire of fence which was erected to protect the crop from Nilgais and pigs.
