Jammu:Security forces today busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Based on specific information, troops of a Rashtriya Rifles battalion and police recovered the arms and ammunition in Bajali, Dandihalya in Reasi district from the hideout, PRO Defence Northern Command said.
The troops cordoned off the area and carried out a search operation during which they recovered one AK-47 Rifle, its one magazine, 249 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, one UBGL, one 9 mm pistol with magazine, five rounds of 9mm Pistol, 23 Pika rounds, a radio set and “other war like stores”, the PRO said.
