Missing Ratnagiri youth traced in Patna

The state anti-terrorism squad (ATS) said it has traced the missing Ratnagiri youth, Muzammil Duduke, 25, from Patna and reunited him with his family.

MUMBAI: The state anti-terrorism squad (ATS) said it has traced the missing Ratnagiri youth, Muzammil Duduke, 25, from Patna and reunited him with his family. TOI in its edition dated January 6 had reported as how a youth who came from Ratnagiri to leave for Qatar went missing from Mumbai international airport.
"Our teams were working on this case and finally traced Duduke from Patna where he was staying in a guest house.
He has been handed over to his family in Khed, Ratnagiri. There is no terror link," said an ATS officer.
ATS, which began a probe into Duduke's disappearance, had earlier said there were no "extraordinary circumstances" in the case. "He didn't want to go back to his job again and was reluctant to take a flight. So, he came till the airport and went missing. Our initial inquiriy has found that from Mumbai he went to Delhi, Chandigarh, Shimla, Lucknow and then to Patna where we found him," added the officer.
Duduke had left home for the airport alone. The investigation of this missing case began at a time while the ATS was struggling to trace a group of missing Malwani boys, Mohsin Shaikh and Ayaz Sultan. Ayaz is learnt to have fled the country and reached Iraq to join the Islamic State (IS).
