Former general manager Customs of the Fiji Revenue Customs Authority (FRCA), Tevita Tupou has been cleared for breaching the standards of conduct by failing to co-operate and interfering with an internal investigation.
Mr Tupou confirmed this yesterday, but declined to comment.
He is now employed at the Oceania Customs Organisation Secretariat.
Ashneel Sigh, Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC), assistant public affairs officer said: “We know of the situation however we haven’t charged him because FRCA is conducting an internal investigation and we think that it is sufficient enough for the moment.”
