Vijay Sethupathi to play a rustic role

Vijay Sethupathi has signed on yet another film this year. The film titled Rekka will be directed by Rathina Siva. Lakshmi Menon has been roped in to play the female lead and the shooting will commence from April.
A source says, ���This will be an action film set against the backdrop of Madurai. This is basically a kidnapping story in which Vijay Sethupathi will be playing the role of a kidnapper.Lakshmi Menon is playing the role of a village belle. The shooting will begin from the first week of April. Vijay Sethupathi is expected to complete his current projects and then join this team.���
After Soodhu Kavvum Vijay Sethupathi is acting in a kidnap-based story. But unlike Soodhu Kavvum this is said to be a serious kidnap plot.
