PESHAWAR - A boy committed suicide after killing a girl in Peshawar’s Hayatabad when girl’s family rejected his marriage proposal.
Police said that the boy identified as Mahmood Zeb stormed into a house in Hayatabad phase-1 and gunned down the girl after refusal of the marriage proposal by the family.
The suspect committed suicide after the incident. Police personnel termed the incident as a consequence of marriage proposal dispute as Mahmood Zeb wanted to marry the girl but her family refused to do so.
Moreover, officers have launched an investigation into the matter and recovered killing weapon from the site.
