The Western Naval Command commemorated the 67th Republic Day by undertaking a non-stop Cycling-Kayaking event from Mumbai to Korlai Fort via Kolad from Monday to Wednesday. A team of 14 Indian Navy officers and sailors began the journey at 6 am on Monday. The team members cycled 134 km from the Naval Base to Kolad and proceeded on kayaks down the Kundalika River, arriving at the Korlai Sea Fort in Raigad on Tuesday, and returned to the base on Wednesday, Defence officials said.
