Michael Kennedy, Who Fought for LSD Guru, Mob Boss, Dies at 78

Michael Kennedy, the trial lawyer who represented LSD advocate Timothy LearyBloomberg Terminal, a member of the Chicago Eight and a Sicilian mob boss in some of the most high-profile criminal and civil-rights cases in the second half of the 20th century, has died. He was 78.

He died Jan. 25 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, according to his wife, Eleanora.
