BANOS, Ecuador, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Visitors to a famous tree house in Ecuador are being offered a glimpse into the abyss by taking a ride on the "Swing at the End of the World."

La Casa del Arbol, a famous tree house and seismic monitoring station near Banos, is attracting thrill-seekers as well as sight-seers looking to take a swing over the edge of the cliff.

The swing is nicknamed "The Swing at the End of the World" for the sensation of swinging out over nothingness.

A video filmed this month shows a thrilled and terrified visitor taking a scream-filled ride on the swing, which is located near the Tungurahua volcano.
