Kylie Jenner may have a wardrobe to rival even her big sister Kim Kardashian, but look closely at every photo she’s in and you’ll see that she’s always wearing one particular accessory – her Cartier Love bracelet.
And it’s not because she can’t bear not to wear it (although considering she has numerous other bangles exactly the same she must be pretty obsessed with it), it’s because it’s stuck on her.

Yesterday, the 18-year-old reality star posted a Snapchat video that shows her attempting to remove the £4,000 bracelet. “This bracelet has been stuck on for like, four years and no one in the store can get it off,” she explains. It’s a hard life.
Jenner’s not the only celeb to own the pricey piece of jewellery. Pippa Middleton, Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie and even Princess Diana have been “locked” into their own Cartier bracelets in the past. It’s quite the coveted piece.

Short of an engagement ring, it’s one of the most romantic pieces of jewellery you can buy a loved one. Tom Cruise bought Katie Holmes one when she gave birth to Suri and Richard Burton bought Elizabeth Taylor. Sounds romantic, but it’s a bit like a chastity belt – and the design was even inspired by this age-old idea.
But because it’s designed to last, well, an eternity, the shackle is screwed on so you can’t get it off. Hence Kylie’s issue.
To get it taken off, you have to head to one of Cartier’s branches and get it removed with a special screwdriver – as Kylie is attempting to in her video. We guess we’ll have to stay tuned to Snapchat to see how this story ends.
