Redress plaints within fortnight, says Tehri DM

Tehri District Magistrate Neeraj Kherwal yesterday reviewed 136 complaints that were filed during a public grievance camp held here on January 4.

The DM directed officials to redress the complaints within 15 days, failing which strict action will be taken.

She asked PWD officials to repair damaged water pipelines on the Silari-Chawada road and the sidewalls of an anganwari kendra. Irrigation Department officials informed the DM that safety works worth Rs 5 crore were being undertaken in the Jaunpur development region. Social Welfare Department officials were asked to complete the forms of applicants under various pension schemes without any delay. —TNS
