Remember when Prezzo asked “Can Jaguar read this” during the Friday Briefing show with Betty Kyalo? Well, we can confirm that Jaguar would definitely read because he went through the education system and despite dropping out in class 7 due to school fee hardship, someone rescued him from his sad state.

Jaguar gives a key to Mr. Gathigu

“After my parents passed on, life was never the same again. I was stressed and struggling to get meals and fee to the extent that I dropped out of school at class 7 because of hardship and started selling water to get some money.” Jaguar said

An year later, jaguar had struggled enough and hoped to get back to school but since he had been out of class for so long, no school wanted him as their student.

“I went around many schools asking that they admit me so I could finish my class 8, but they refused! Some didn’t even take time to listen to my story. But by a stroke of luck, I went into Mr. Gathigu’s school and after listening to my story, he admitted me into class 7. That was my turning point.” Jaguar added.

Years later and he has grown to become a celebrated brand with musical hits and a government job that tell a different narrative form his life back in the day. To show his appreciation to Mr Gathigu, Jaguar awarded him a Rav 4 car yesterday after attending mass at the PCEA Thirime church.

“He saved my life and believed in me when no one else would. People of Thogoto should learn to take care of their youths, warn them against drugs and alcohol abuse which is taking many young lives, the inspire them to become productive members of the community.” Jaguar said while handing over the car key to Mr. Gathigu.
