The Supreme Court is hearing the border dispute, as Maharashtra has sought the inclusion of Belagavi and many other towns and villages along the border in its territory. Harish Salve is representing Maharashtra in the Supreme Court on the matter. "I know Mr. Salve personally well. I will work with him to strengthen the case for Maharashtra," she said and called upon the youths to start an initiative on social media forums seeking to include Maratha dominant villages and towns in Karnataka into Maharashtra.
