EIL organizes a CSR Camp in Balangir, Odisha

Engineers India Limited (EIL) as part of it's CSR Initiatives, in association with IOCL, BPCL and HPCL, organized a Free Distribution Camp of Assistive aids and appliances for persons with special needs, Livelihood Training Kits for Tribal Women and Distribution of LPG Connections for BPL Families in Balangir, Odisha on 19th January 2016. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the Minister of State (I/C) Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India was the Chief Guest and the event was graced by Shri Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo Hon'ble MP (Lok Sabha) Bolangir, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo , Hon'ble MLA Patnagarh, Odisha, Shri Narasingha Mishra, Hon'ble MLA of Balangir Constituency.

During the camp a variety of High-tech aid and appliances like motorized tricycles, Digital Hearing Aids, Daisy Players, Wheel Chair, Crutch, Crutch Axilla Adjustable, Walking Stick etc were distributed to suitably assessed beneficiaries. The main objective of this project was to provide better quality artificial limbs and accessories free of cost to the needy and underprivileged physically challenged persons.

The Hon'ble Minister also launched EIL's Functional Literacy Programme for 120 tribal women for economic empowerment and distribution of LPG Connections to BPL Families as part of the 'Give it Back' Initiative of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
