In the wake of TRS “Car” was going on jet speed in civic polls campaigning, the Telugu Desam hierarchy is pressing in its national general secretary and young leader Nara Lokesh for a week-long campaign segment from January 24, i.e., Sunday onwards.
A special vehicle “Chaitanya Ratham” was prepared to adeptly suit star campaigning for the civic polls. Lokesh is learnt to have prepared for his maiden public speech for the civic polls. According to TD sources, Telangana TD leaders E Dayakar Rao, L Rarmana, Revanth Reddy and R Krishnaiah are the star campaigners to accompany Lokesh during the campaign.
The TD supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, who is to take a campaign for about three days has asked Lokesh to campaign along with these leaders. However, it is not clear whether its ally BJP will join their campaign in Uppal segment. (NSS)
