34 villages declared sensitive in Fatehabad

FATEHABAD: As many as 34 villages have been identified as sensitive or hypersensitive in the Ratia and Jakhal blocks of Fatehabad that go to the polls on Sunday.

As many as 34 villages have been identified as sensitive or hypersensitive in the Ratia and Jakhal blocks of Fatehabad that go to the polls on Sunday.

Fatehabad Deputy Commissioner NK Solanki said in the Jakhal block of the district, Talwara, Diwana, Dher, Gullarwala and Sidhani have been identified as sensitive villages, while Chandpura, Sadhanwas, Jakhal, Jakhal Mandi and Chuharpur have been identified as hypersensitive villages.

Solanki said in the Ratia block, Chando Kalan, Dhani Babanpur, Ganda, Hamjapur, Hanspur, Haroli, Jallopur, Jandwala Sottar, Ladhuwas, Lali, Mehmada, Mirana, Mal, Pilchhiyan, Rattakhera and Sardarewala have been identified as sensitive, while Aherwan, Alika, Badalgarh, Baliala, Hasanga, Khunan, Mohamadpur Sottar and Sukhlampur have been identified as hypersensitive.

Solanki said 1,645 officials had been assigned duties to conduct polls on 329 polling booths set up in the two blocks of the district.
