Xiaomi's upcoming Mi5 appears again in leaked images

Chinese giant Xiaomi's upcoming Mi5 smartphone has made its appearance again in leaked images on the web.

Chinese giant Xiaomi's upcoming Mi5 smartphone has made its appearance again in leaked images on the web. Images alleged to be of Xiaomi Mi 5 have surfaced on Chinese social network Weibo.
The images which are likely of the black variant of the smartphone show an all-metal body. Also, the new images contradict the earlier leaked images which showed a fingerprint scanner below the display on the home button.
The current images show it as located at the back below the rear camera.
Another recent report on the smartphone claimed that the Chinese startup will launch not just one but two versions of the device. A report by Chinese tech website MyDrivers said that Xiaomi will differentiate between the two Mi 5 variants with respective to screen resolution and material of construction.
Earlier leaks of the smartphone (courtesy another Wiebo user) showed the upcoming Mi 5 smartphone in black, white, gold and pink colours.
According to earlier reports, Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch QHD screen and run on the new Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB RAM. It is said to have 16GB and 64GB storage options and support storage expansion as well. On the back is expected to be a 16MP camera with dual-LED flash, while an 8MP camera is likely to be in front. Powering the smartphone is a 3,030mAh battery.
It is expected that Xiaomi will release Mi 5 in February at approximately 1,999 yuan.
