After R The King was stopped abruptly for reasons best known to the director Prem and actor and producer Raghavendra Rajkumar, the second venture of Vinay Raghavendra Rajkumar — Run Antony has started brisk shooting in and around Bengaluru. The film being directed by the debutant Raghu Shastry sees Rukshar Mir and Shivajirao Jadhav joining the shoot, with the rest of the cast yet to be finalised.
Sharan in 800 avatar!
After doing well at the box office with back-to-back hits – Bhajarangi and Vajrakaya, director A Harsha is attempting a hat-trick with Jai Maruthi 800 starring comedian-turned-hero Sharan, Sruthi Hariharan, and Shubha Punja in the lead. After the two supernatural dramas, Harsha is banking upon comedy for the hat-trick. But we’ll wait for the humour for our verdict.
Viraat finally set for release
Almost four years after it was launched, Viraat, starring Darshan along with three heroines — Vidisha Srivastav, Isha Chawla and Chaitra Chandranath is finally set for release in the coming weeks. The movie directed by H Vasu had remained in cold storage for a long time, for ‘unknown’ reasons. Now, that’s a ‘Real Challenging’ release!
