Sajdik: Surkov-Nuland talks helped revitalize talks on Ukraine

MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) - The negotiations held between Russian Presidential Aide Vladislav Surkov and Victoria Nuland, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the United States Department of State, helped revitalize the talks on Ukraine, OSCE special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik told media on 20 January, BelTA informs.

Vladislav Surkov and Victoria Nuland held a six-hour meeting in Kaliningrad Oblast on 15 January.

When asked if this meeting influenced today's talks in the trilateral contact group, Martin Sajdik was brief answering that it did.
