Wife says man neglects family for eunuchs

Ahmedabad: In a peculiar application of complaint by a 35-year-old woman from Ranip, at the Women's Police Station in Ahmedabad, the woman alleged that her husband spends most of his time with a group of eunuchs and is neglecting her and their little daughter.
However, when Women's Police officials summoned the eunuchs, they learnt that the group spent time with the man since he was a little boy and used to care for him.
“The eunuchs said that the man is not involved in any of their activities and just sits with them. They have never pressurized him to come to them," said a woman police official.
According to the application of complaint, the woman alleged that the eunuchs threaten her if she prevented her husband from accompanying them.
“After questioning the eunuchs, we called husband and wife to the police station.We made the woman understand that her husband is not involved with the activities of the eunuchs and also urged the husband to stay away from the eunuchs if his wife doesn't like it. They agreed and went home together," said a woman police official.
