Tamil cinema has seen many comedians over the years. There was the classic duo of Goundamani and Senthil, who were succeeded by Vadivelu and then finally came Santhanam. Actually, the comedy king has been in business since early 2000, but he rose to fame in 2009 with Siva Manasula Shakti and he hasn't looked back since. This is one of the best scenes from the movie which will surely make you guffaw. The dynamic between actor Jeeva and Santhanam was absolutely amazing. It is one of those moments where the comedian is at the receiving end of the joke which does not happen too often. His dialogues from the movie have literally been immortalized and have become the lines to say if you want to make people laugh. Boss Engira Baskaran

This penultimate scene of the movie is just epic. Santhanam steals the show with his drunk guy antics. Nallathambi, which is his character, goes all out and insults a prestigious bank manager at his felicitation. The way the dialogues flows effortlessly from the comedian's mouth makes you wonder if the lines are scripted or if he is going impromptu. Watch this video especially if you are very pissed off at someone and want to make some epic comebacks.

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi

The movie starred Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hansika Motwani and Santhanam. It is the introduction scene of Partha(Santhanam) in the movie and is arguably one of the best comic scenes in OKOK. It is not an exaggeration to say that this movie ran solely because of his superb comic timing. After the resounding success, the Udhayanidi and Santhanam did several movies together. What makes this scene memorable is that we can see Santhanam's mimicry skills that will remind us of his Lollu Sabha days.

Kalakalappu (Masala Cafe)

Santhanam takes on a villainous yet funny role of Vettupuli. He and his three guards cause a laughing riot throughout the movie. This scene is extremely comical because of the whole setting where the comedian's flawless dialogue delivery is supported by hilarious performances of his guards and actor Vimal. Even though his role in the movie was short, he still managed to stand out as the best aspect of the movie. Santhanam has proved time and again that he create awesome combinations with just about anybody.

Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru

Mokia, played by Santhanam teaches Kumaru, played by Siddharth to impress girls and get himself a girlfriend. The actor proves in TVSK that not only is he funny, he can also be quite a ladies man with his smooth talking ways. It is indeed hilarious to see Siddharth, who is the chocolate boy down South being outdone by Santhanam as he manages to get three girls' phone numbers at the same time. TVSK was one of his most recent successes.
