JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon joined CNBC on Wednesday morning from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, to share his views on the economy and the stock market.
Dimon made his remarks amid a global market sell-off, which has placed most major equity benchmarks in either correction or bear market territory, down at least 10 percent from their 52-week highs.
"I'm hopeful that this is just all a big adjustment," Dimon said. "A fast adjustment might be better than a painful, slow death."
