THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Vimochana Yatra led by BJP state president Kummanam Rajasekharan will begin from Kasaragod on Wednesday .
Union minister Venkaiah Naidu will inaugurate the yatra--raising the slogan of access to food, water, land, job and equal opportunity for all--at Uppala at 10am.
Union minister Sadananda Gowda, BJP national secretary H Raja and actor Suresh Gopi will also attend the inaugural function.
"Those leading the two fronts, the Congress and the CPM, are now in the midst of their respective 'yatras'. There is not much difference in their slogans or issues raised," Rajasekharan said. He said their only concern now was who among their leaders should head the next government.
"Any change in individuals will make no difference. What matters is the attitude, the ideals and the approach. Both of them have the same attitude, ideals and approach and this should change. Kerala has to be liberated," he said. The yatra will conclude in Thiruvananthapuram on February 10.
