Villagers make flowery cakes to embrace Spring Festival

Villagers here are starting to make "flowery cakes" ahead of the approaching Spring Festival, which falls on Feb 7 this year. The "flowery cake" is always made of red dates and flour and decorated with colors to symbolize a happier new year.
