CHENNAI: What would life feel like, if we stopped apologising for how we look? What would our words sound like, if we stopped apologising for what we thought? What would the world look like, if we stopped apologising for who we are?
Six contemporary women poets will provide answers to these questions through verses that they penned.
Prajnya, a non-profit centre for research on issues related to peace, justice and security, will organise a poetry reading on the theme 'Zero Apologies' in Chennai on Sunday, January 24.
It will be held at Odyssey, Adyar, between 5pm and 7pm
The poets will read at the event, following which the audience can share their work too.
Kutti Revathi, Sukirtharani and Manushi Bharathi will read in Tamil while K Srilata, Sharanya Manivannan and Smruthi Bala Kannan will recite in English.
