STARCORE ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Starcore International Mines Ltd. has released the results of its annual general meeting of shareholders held on Jan. 15, 2016.

Shareholders elected all directors nominated by management, as follows.

At the meeting, shareholders also approved the reappointment of Deloitte LLP, chartered accountants, as auditor of Starcore and authorized the directors to fix their remuneration.

The company also reports that shareholders approved the proposal to issue 3,993,203 common shares (see press releases of Aug. 11, 2015, and Sept. 3, 2015).
