Vani conquers Ahmedabad twice again

Ahmedabad’s stay was rather fruitful to her as she claimed her second title after winning the second leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour conducted at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens. The Delhi-based golfer carded 1 over 73 in final round. Kiran Matharu stood runner-up with a total score of 216.

AHMEDABAD: Delhi’s young golfer Vani Kapoor can clearly term Ahmedabad as her lucky city.
Ahmedabad’s stay was rather fruitful to her as she claimed her second title after winning the second leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour conducted at the Kalhaar Blues & Greens. The Delhi-based golfer carded 1 over 73 in final round. Kiran Matharu stood runner-up with a total score of 216.

Earlier in the month, Kapoor captured the first leg of the Hero Women's Professional Golf Tour which was played at the Kensville Golf & Country Club.
Hero Order of Merit leader Vani Kapoor starting firing from the start, carding three birdies on the 1st, 5th and 7th holes while dropping a shot on the 3rd. However, she could not sustain the momentum in the latter half, dropping four shots on the 10th, 11th, 12th and 17th holes, but a birdie on the 15th proved to be the decisive moment as she secured a single shot victory over Kiran Matharu, finishing with a total score of 215 after 54 holes.
Overseas player Kiran Matharu carded 2 under 70, to finish second with a total score of level par 216.
