Bata Bridge collapses as basement pillar cave in

Nahan Jan 16, (UNI) Bata river bridge at Paonta Sahib that maintains one-way traffic has collapsed due to weak pillar basement.
Assistant Engineer, National Highway, VK Aggarwal said the bridge was constructed in
1960 and the foundation of pillars became hollow were provided life every year for the last more than ten years by placing bajari with cement but the flood during rainy season always washed the safety
