Participants from 30 affiliated orgs take part in RSS Gujarat Prant Samnvay Meet

The Second-in-Command (Sarkaryavah) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Bhaiyaji Joshi today participated in the Prant Samnvay Baithak (State Co-ordination Meet) of the RSS affiliated organizations here. Representatives of altogether 30 organizations related to the RSS and also several top leaders of the ruling BJP including Chief Minister Mrs. Aanandiben Patel also attended their part of meeting.
Prant Prachar Pramukh of the RSS, Pradeep Jain told media persons that the meeting held in the Gujarat State Co-operative bank premises in Shastrinagar area of the city was second of the four meetings to be led by Mr. Joshi, who is on a four day visit to Gujarat since yesterday.
‘Various leaders of the BJP including the chief minister participated in the meeting today as the ruling party was also an affiliated organization of the RSS. Representatives of altogether 30 such organizations including the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Akhil Bhati Vidyarthi Parishad, Sanskar Bharti, Seva Bharti and Sahkar Bharti took part in the meet during which the exchange of information on various social ventures taken up by these outfits in the last one year took place. Later the respected Sarkaryavah also addressed the meeting with his guiding remarks,’ Shri Pradip Jain said.
Yesterday the meeting of Prant Karyakari Mandal took place. Tomorrow a Prant Meet will take place in which office bearers of the RSS of district level and above will participate. On the final day of Mr. Joshi’s Gujarat visit on January 18. a Samajik Samrasata Meet will be held, the RSS leader said.
Notably, the meetings are taking place at a time when selection of the new state president of the BJP is also to take place as the term of the incumbent R C Faldu, who also participated in the meeting today, has already expired.
BJP national president Amit Shah, also a local MLA from Naranpura area is in Ahmedabad and had held parleys with the Chief Minister yesterday reportedly regarding organizational matters.
To a query regarding a formal meeting between Mr. Joshi and Mr. Shah, Mr. Jain parried the question.
