At least 15 cricket players from all over India reached Khandheri stadium in Rajkot to participate in the “process for selection of IPL Rajkot cricket team”. They however realized that they were duped. There was no selection process going on in Rajkot stadium.

Cheaters had created a Facebook page under the title of ‘Diamond Cricket Club’ and asked those wanting to be a part of Rakot IPL cricket team to pay Rs 3,000 and attend the selection round on 15-16-17 January at Khandheri stadium in Rajkot.

There were many who put trust in this announcement on Facebook page and paid money as per the direction issued via Whatsapp(95 87 075898 Raju Ram). They were promised T-shirts, certificates, free participation in IPL camp for those selected etc. Those who paid money today actually arrived at Rajkot stadium where they realized they have been cheated.
