Kapur brings over two decades of financial, diversified operating management and strategic consulting experience to the role. He succeeds CFO Stephen Rupolo, who is now leading corporate product, pricing and asset management strategy in the newly created position of Vice President – Product Strategy.

As the CFO and VP of Finance for SmartSource Rentals, Sanjay will lead all finance and accounting functions, as well as Information Technology (IT). He will be responsible for establishing best financial practices and ensuring that the company infrastructure is built to scale in support of growth. In addition, Sanjay will work closely with the Board of Directors and other stakeholders as a business partner to ensure that key financial benchmarks, strategies and metrics are achieved.

Prior to joining SmartSource Rentals, Kapur spent almost 20 years with Arrow Electronics, Inc., serving most recently as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Finance for A.E. Petsche (an Arrow Electronics Company based in Arlington, TX) where he successfully transitioned the then newly acquired privately-held business into the Fortune 150 Arrow organization. In addition to his role as CFO for Petsche, Kapur has held multiple executive operating roles at Arrow in areas of finance, sales management, marketing and procurement.  Prior to Arrow, Kapur spent five years with McKinsey & Company (Houston, TX) and two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers (Pittsburgh, PA).

Kapur holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University (Durham, NC) and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Muskingum University (New Concord, OH). He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York.
