Amit Shah flies kites with party workers in his constituency in Amdavad

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) natioanl president and Ahmedabad’s Naranpura constituency MLA Amit Shah on Thursday celebrated Makar Sankranti and flew kites on the occasion with party workers in Naranpura area. Shah arrived in Ahmedabad yesterday, and he is going to spend the two-day long kite flying festival with family members and citizens from his constituency. Makar Sankranti is a harvest festival celebrated over India and Nepal on the joy of getting new crops for farmers. Makar Sankranti is observed with various names in different regions of India; Pongal in Tamil, Lohri in Punjab, Uttarayan in Gujarat.
