Bus crew threaten stir

The bus crew in Ernakulam will go on protest if bus owners fail to pay revised salary and arrears in tune with the fare stage before January 20, the Private Bus Thozhilali Federation has said. The workers are eligible for revised salary from January 1. Notices were issued to the bus owners, said a statement issued by Joy Joseph, general secretary of the Federation.

Postponed

The workers’ meet of Film Employees Federation of Kerala (FEFKA), which was scheduled to be held here on January 12, and a joint public meeting of the FEFKA Directors’ Union and Writers’ Union to be held on January 15, have been postponed to May 1, says a note issued by B. Unnikrishnan, general secretary of the Federation.
