Ghana’s Otto Addo thrilled with appointment as FC Nordsjaelland assistant coach

Former Black Stars winger Otto Addo says he is thrilled with the appointment as the assistantant coach of Danish side FC Nordsjaelland.

The former Dortmund midfielder was named as the assistant to Kasper Hjulmand on Friday by the Wild Tigers, a team which was taken over by CEO of Right To Dream Academy a few weeks ago.

The new assistant coach started his career as coach at Hamburger SV, where he mainly worked with the U/19, but also helped with reserves and first team.

Speaking exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com after his appointment, the excited Otto Addo said he was thrilled with the appointment adding that it is a great opportunity.

'I'm really trilled for this new opportunity and I'm looking forward to meeting the other coaches and players. I believe the vision being created here at FCN of combining African players with the players who are already here will give us an unique chance of developing people to the highest level,' says Addo.

Otto Addo will be on the pitch with the team for the first time, when the first team starts their pre-season on Monday.
