Woman murdered in Bengaluru, two arrested

The Karnataka police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of a Bengaluru-based woman in Kolar district last year.

The accused Manjunath from Nelamangala and Dhanaraj of Yeshwanthapura had allegedly killed Parvathamma of Bengaluru and dumped her body in Kammasandra in Kolar district last year.

It is alleged that Manjunath was having an illicit affair with Parvathamma and feared losing his family after they came to know about it. Subsequently, he asked Parvathamma to accompany him to a temple in Kolar district where he killed her with the help of his friend Dhanaraj.

Both the accused have been remanded in judicial custody.
