Aindrita plays a village girl for the first time

Recently, Chauka, Tharun Sudhir’s debut directorial film was launched with four heroes: Diganth, Vijay Raghavendra, Prajwal Devaraj and Prem. The team has begun shooting and we hear that there’s a new member who has joined the cast — Aindrita Ray, who will be paired opposite Prem.
The actress, who has till date sizzled as a contemporary city girl onscreen, will play a village girl for the first time. The Manasaare actress says, “This is the first time that I’m playing a village belle.It is a cute love track between Prem and I. The love story takes place in 1985-86, so my look — right from my hair to the costumes — has been decided based on girls’ looks of that time.”
Aindrita adds that the character is quite similar to her in real life as “she is extremely playful and loves animals.” The actress adds, “The film comprises four different tracks that run on parallel lines and I am very excited because Tharun has come up with a wonderful script. There could be no better way to begin the new year,” she signs off.
