More feathers in CKT’s cap

CKT student selected for state-level Woshu competition

On November 1, 2015, the District Sports Department organised a Woshu competition at Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi sports club – Dharavi. Master Udhav Mahendra Gade from grade 10 of C.K.T. English Medium Secondary Section bagged the Gold medal and was selected for the State Level competition at Gadchiroli. He trained under the guidance of C.K.T. sports teachers — Mr. Ashok Patil, Mr. Nitin Mhatre and Mr. Prakash Risbud.

J.B.S.P Sanstha`s – Hon’ble Chairman Shri Ramshetji Thakur, President Shri Arun Shet Bhagat, Vice Chairman Shri Y. T. Deshmukh, Secretary Dr. Shri S.T. Gadade, and Headmaster Shri Santosh Chavan congratulated.

Baseball winners

C.K.T. Institute English Medium Secondary Section’s under 14 baseball team secured the second position, showing great team spirit in the Mumbai division baseball competition, organised by Sai Sports Complex, Kandivali on November 4, 2015.

CKTians shine in Science

Mumbai Science Teachers Association conducted the Dr. Homi Bhabha Bal-Vaidnyanik Exam year 2015 in which students from grade 6 and 9 of the English medium secondary section were successful.

From grade 6, 25 students appeared and out of these, 2 students — Master. Avdut Sachin Gharat and Miss. Aditi Ajit Patil qualified for the second-level practical exam.

From grade 9, 20 students appeared for the exam and of these 10 were felicitated with a certificate.

Kudos to all the participants and achievers, and last but not the least, to the science teachers for their valuable guidance.
