Salman Khan donated Rs 2.5 crore for the camp along with helping out other social service causes.

Dabangg star Salman Khan has donated Rs 2.5 crore to help patients in the drought affected area of Jalgaon in North Maharashtra.
The medical camp will be conducted from January 9 until January 12.
The camp is expected to accommodate approximately 35,000 patients from Jalgaon and neighbouring districts. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the camp, Cabinet Minister for Water Resources Girish Mahajan told the reporters on Tuesday.
The medical camp will have a separate section for cancer patients and experts from Mumbai's Tata Memorial Hospital have been requested to visit, reports Marathi daily Maharashtra Times.
Apart from that various pharmaceutical companies have donated five trucks full of medicines for the patients in the camp.
Khan has also helped out other social service causes.
